01. Traveling to Zaragoza
By plane
There are only a few flights arriving directly at Zaragoza airport. The airport is 12km away from the city centre and there is a regular bus service and taxis available.
By train
The more comfortable way to reach Zaragoza is flying to Madrid – Barajas or Barcelona – El Prat airports, and then taking the high speed train (AVE) to Zaragoza, the tickets can be pursued at Renfe webpage.
From Madrid – Barajas airport to Madrid – Puerta de Atocha (train station) there is a short distance train leaving each half an hour (C-1).
From Barcelona – El Prat airport to Barcelona – Sants (train station) there is a short distance train leaving each half an hour (Rodalies).
In both cases, the ticket for the train connecting the airport and the train station is included in the AVE ticket.
By car
Cars can be rented either at Barcelona or Madrid airport, both are 3.5h driving from Zaragoza city centre.
02. Reaching meeting venue
ITA is located at Campus Rio Ebro (C/María de Luna, 7). There is a tram line from the city centre to the campus (direction to Avenida de la Academia), the tickets can be purchased at the tram stops.
Once at the campus, ITA is divided into two buildings (red and white), the meeting will be hosted in the white one:
